Fortin Chiropractic Health & Wellness Clinic, located in the Uptown Hamel area of the City of Medina, is owned and operated by Dr. Brenda Fortin, DC (Doctor of Chiropractic). She opened her Chiropractic Clinic in Aug. 2004 and has been practicing since 2001.

The Hamel Community has been an important part of the Fortin Family's History. The Fortin Family has other businesses in Hamel including, Fortin Consulting, Hamel Electric and the legendary Fortin Hardware Store, (est 1919). With 4 generations of family history in Hamel, this makes it our mainstay location and why we are so passionate to serve this community!

Our Clinic has an unique "smaller town" atmosphere where it becomes clear that patients are our main priority. We are recognized for getting to know our patients on a personal level, by looking at them as a whole person, and giving them a high level of service. The first stage of getting a patient well and keeping them there is knowing them as a person and understanding how their health concerns affect their daily lives. One thing you will notice that we listen, take time, and work together to get you well and maintain your health.

What we are is a clinic that looks at each person individually where Dr. Fortin will take the time at your first visit to understand your health concern while educating you on your condition as well as things for you to do at home. Our goal is to get you better by not only treating you but by also educating you on how to maintain great health.

Who we Are!

·  We provide you with 1x1 patient/doctor treatments (lasting about 20 minutes). Why? You came to see a doctor to get treated and we want you to be able to get the treatment and questions answered at your visit.  At your first visit we go through a history, examination and treatment, so that you can start to feel well again.

·  We will treat you based on your needs, and not sell you a plan. Why? Each person is different in how we heal and lifestyle.  Dr. Fortin will work with you on your treatment plan. 

·  We are a simple. Why? It's better for our patients when we can focus on a few services.  Our patients stay names, and not numbers.  Dr. Fortin uses her hands and tools to diagnose your condition.  She does not rely on computer technology

·  We care about our patients. If you are getting better we will taper your visits and talk to you about home care to keep you healthy.  If your pain is not getting better, Dr. Fortin will refer you to the proper specialist to help you get back to wellness.  We enjoy working with other providers to help you get better faster.  Why? We will want everyone to enjoy their life to the fullest and always feel comfortable talking to us about their health concerns. 

·  We provide private treatment rooms. Why? Health is very personal, and we respect people's privacy.

·  We offer FREE Consultations on our services. Why? We are confident at what we do, and make ourselves available to help others understand how we can help them. We help our patients feel comfortable at their first visit, especially, first time patients to chiropractic.

In addition to our services, Fortin Health and our staff are also a very active participates in community events and serve on community boards.

You may have recently seen us serving food at the Hamel Rodeo, handing out candy at the Hamel Rodeo Parade, giving massages & spinal screens at the St. Anne's Church Festival, or interacting with families in our booth at the Medina Celebration Days.

We are active members of the Uptown Hamel Business Committee (Dr. Fortin was recently voted President Elect), the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce, and the Minnesota Chiropractic Association.

We also sponsor the Hamel Youth Baseball Association and have sponsored the Loretto Community Athletic Association.

Dr. Fortin also makes herself available to publicly speak on various health related topics. A few of the topics are; weight loss, healthy eating, stress reduction, choosing vitamins, healthy kids and healthy pregnancy.
