Chiropractic Philosophy

Chiropractors focus on locating and finding misalignments in the spine, which are called subluxations, that might interfere with communication in the body. Subluxations are less than a dislocation and is what chiropractors look for and correct. These subluxations can cause nerve interferences which can contribute to pain, muscles tightness and organ dysfunction. The chiropractic adjustment removes the nerve interferences for the body to function at its optimal level. It will also allow the body's inborn ability to heal itself. When your body is working at its optimal level, it can adapt better to the stressors placed upon it in everyday life. All ages can benefit from chiropractic. As we get older, stress and other trauma to our body can also contribute to spinal misalignments. Many people benefit from chiropractic care throughout their lives.
